The Internet Blues Part 2

[A continuation from October 11, 2009.] During my lengthy down time from the Internet, and being very frustrated at modern technology, I decided to make good use of my time and catch up on some reading.

One of my favorite books on setting goals is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  Originally published in 1937, this timeless classic is the epitome of what it means to make a commitment to action.

This is a book that was written to read over and over again, because of the value of its content and the processes involved in achieving success.  Each time you read it, you will get more value from it as new ideas emerge in the “Thirteen Steps to Riches.”

Glued to my dog-eared book, I was compelled to use my highlighter and take detailed notes on the prolific writing of Mr. Hill because I wanted to experience every detail in this thought-provoking literature once again.  In this book, there is a secret to wealth and success woven into the thirteen steps, of which the reader must experience on their own.  There are many “ah-ha” moments, and if you have not yet read this compelling masterpiece, I would advise you to do so.

Whatever your goals may be, finding your purpose and putting your goals into a plan will help you achieve your goals with greater success.

There was a significant reason I was without Internet service during those two weeks mentioned in my previous post.  Initially, I was not clear was it was until I reached into my bag and pulled out Think and Grow Rich.  It suddenly hit me that there was a purpose and a plan for me to delve deep into the riches of Mr. Hill’s writing.

Warm regards,

P.S.  My challenge to you is to read (or re-read)  Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and let me know what you think!
